Whenever I talk to my friends who are gay, they a lot of times speculate on other people who come up in the conversation (who sometimes even have a significant other of the opposite sex) as being gay. I would think it maybe has to do with being so attuned to reading other people's sexuality that gay people tend to do this, and also that its comforting to find 'comrades in arms'. What other reasons do you think contribute to this?
