Why do people worship the "stars" so much see below?

Question

I often wonder why people worship and our so enamored with the hollywood stars when they are such bad examples of how to live properly. There marraiges end even before thier mattresses are broken in, they have babies outside of marraige and marraige is an opton, not a priority, they use thier promiscuity to rise to the top.
I look at the covers of these magazines and wonder why dont these "stars" get a life and realize life is not ALL about thier fame and thier fourtune? Why do people worship these typoes of people? What message does this tell our children and future generations?

I am with you. I wonder if their parents are around when they get home---at least via phone. I would be so ashame of myself to do the things that they're always doing. Where are Paris's parents, Lionel Richie and the parents of the Olsen Sisters? These kids do anything they want. Just because you've got the bucks doesn't mean you don't have to have some properity.
Look at Pam Anderson. She may be 40, but she's got parents to answer to. Look at Jessie Jackson. He's breaking more commandment than I.

I agree with you. My Grandma was very religous and she used to think TV was sinful, maybe she wasn't so far off
