One of my professors once told me that Economics is one of the only courses that can be used to solve the majority of problems in the world. Do you agree?

its been a while now and people would think ud get over it but im still not able to celebrate valentines day , i still get upset and emotional around that day . why well my father died on valentines day 8 years ago and a piece of my heart died with him .

im on holiday (in africa), travelling in a tour bus. there is a group of 6 of us, 5 men and 1 woman. (im one of the guys.) anyway, one of the guys has established himself as the alpha male in our group (by being sporty and showing he is physically the strongest.) this is ok with me, apart from the fact that he is being really mean to me! i am more confident than him when it comes to talking to girls, and when were in bars i often dance on my own and people are impressed wtih my dancing, but he isnt confident enough at dancing to do that. so now that he sees im more confident in some ways than him, he sees me as a threat, so he insults me and makes jokes about me. its getting really annoying! its actually getting me down a bit too. its harder to enjoy it with him breathing down my neck the whole time. he also lies quite a lot to sound impressive or to assert his position as alpha male. what should i do to get him off my back?

If the baby was unwanted or suffered from a birth defect or drug addiction or any of the other reasons women use to justify abortions and if the woman decides not to have that abortion the man then would be released from any responsibility for the child.
This would free him from the troubles associated with an unwanted child the same way a women is with her choice to have an abortion. Wouldn't that be fair?

My life is turned upside down. I don't know who I was all these years and I don't know my friends like I thought I did. I don't know how to face truth head-on. I feel like a scared little kid. I'm not sure I really "see" things for what they are and I want to bury my head in the sand. My life didn't turn upside down, it's always been upside down and now I'm at the end of the line.

imagine that you are an aristocrat lady that had been condemmed to the guillotine, you are been conducted to your execution in a open cart with you hands tied back, meanwhile the people is yelleing you insults and making fun of you, you ascend the ladder of the scaffold and ar strapped to the guillotine and finally your neck is inmovilized by the lunette and the drums sound......

A normal person does not drive 900 miles without stopping wearing diapers to confront another woman with pepper spray. She also had knifes and a bb gun with her. I think she will probably get off because of mental problems. And I agree, she is nuts.

HOW could anyone do that!!?!?!? How could ANYONE not think this man should be put to death?????? and the wife should be jailed and any other kids removed from her home. The child was 2 years old left out in the snow.. police said they found small footprints, so the little child walked around lost until he/she died. This sad of a story and it's only February :((((((
