possibly it wasn't quite about Ofelein in any respect, as press comments state that Nowak and her husband of many years had separated in basic terms weeks earlier this. it ought to were that Nowak became in basic terms nuts over the separation and said Ofelein with the intention to have someone to love her back. possibly he reported some efficient issues to her, informed her a pair jokes- or perhaps as someone is *that* susceptible, they could enlarge issues that persons do and say and picture that the movements or words propose more effective than they do. perchance your authentic question is why won't be able to some women human beings (and men) exist on my own? Why the utilising stress to continuously should be in a relationship with someone? and then there is that complete situation of competition and that each and each body astronauts thrive on it. i imagine those 2 significant topics blended to create an astronut. and that i do not imagine so that you are able to use Nowak as any type of get collectively for all women human beings.

NASA has been planning for years a space mission to Mars that would last two years. Can you imagine an obsessed person up there for that period of time? You can bet that NASA will re-evaluate their astronauts capabilities, both physically and mentally. I read in the paper that their psychs are pouring over all of Nowak's data to see if they had overlooked anything. To be sure, her goose is cooked... and because the other two are in the military, she may have taken them down with her. I really don't think she is a nut case. Obsessed people have no rational thoughts... the obsession is like a fast moving cancer. Remember Clara Harris, the dentist who ran over her cheating husband three times with her Mercedes... and had her stepdaughter in the car with her. Same thing... blinded by obsession.

YES! She SHOULD have pepper-sprayed the GUY!! Here's one more example of we women going nuts over a guy!! Nowak had been reinforced positively in everything she achieved in the space program. This MUST give the person a feeling of invinceability in everything they do. The isolation of the training and the space experiences and sex with the astronaught and the stong sexual gratification took over into a possesiveness. Also sex for men is more casual/often impersonal while women are emotionally affected most usually. I think that families are bonded together by the women/mothers! Then, too, how could her poor husband compete with that HUNK and their experience together!!

Well, she wouldn't have been accepted into the NASA
astronaut corp if she wasn't amazingly talented at a
number of things and have the sort of persistence that
most of us would find scary.
However, apply that mind and that devotion to something
a little off kilter and you get the results you get.
I think if she hadn't been famous, this wouldn't have
made the news outside the state of Florida.
We expect astronauts to be super-human, and indeed
they are extremely human.
No, I am not justifying either adultery, kidnapping
or attempted murder - but when you consider how many
people have worked for NASA under such ... odd
conditions, its amazing this doesn't happen more often.
As for diapers? Well, again, I think that's that NASA
brain being applied to things it wasn't trained for.
If you need to spend a lot of time extravehicularly
(EVA), you need to wear something to protect the
space suit.
She was simply applying the same logic to the trip
to Florida. Great, but cars need gas so she had
to stop anyways.

While I don't condone what's she has done, I do admire the fact the she loves her husband enough to do something to that extreme...how far would you go for your spouse?
However, it does take two to tango, and to not do anything to her husband (implying that he's blameless in all of this) to me is wrong.
I think it was a temporary break that she'll obviously have to get treatment for. She never be involved with NASA, let alone the military ever again...they'll be too embarrassed with all of the coverage this has had.

All that and she was working in a multi-BILLION dollar aircraft that our tax dollars are paying for, unbelievable. Yes I think she is NUTS, maybe space sickness or something. I believe she should lose her career, marriage, and children and be put in a mental institution for the criminally insane. We should have stricter laws on crimes involving cruelty or the intent to be cruel especially towards children. People are getting confused with this story... she was planning on having an affair, she wasn't DEFENDING her husband PEOPLE!!!... and people that don't want to judge her because they don't "KNOW" the story.. GEES!!! She was caught red handed with this stuff and told the cops the WHOLE story.. my God! I believe in "benefit of the doubt" but hey there's no doubt left!!!! Read the story!!!!!

The people that you know to be chill and calm....Let them Fall in Love and get cheated on or something of the sort...You'll see the REAL them come out REALLY quick! Don't judge her....Is she little extreme? YES! Does it happen all of the time? YES! It only made the news because the media LOVES to embarass famous people.

What I think does not matter. I hope she gets any help she may need and her family stands by her as long as the media will let them. I despise the media and people that pre-judge a situation before they KNOW what's going on.

She was acting crazy but I dont think she will get off on insanity. She knew she was in the wrong and she knew what she was doing, proff of that lies in the fact that once she knew the police were onto her she tried to ditch the things she had taken with her including her disguise.

I think that she is obsessed with getting revenge on the so-called "romantic rival" , as she perceives her.
What she did is definitely out of the range of rational, logical thoughts & actions.
