There is no widespread scientific support for any of these things - although, when you say "aliens" I'm assuming you mean "UFO's". It's pretty well accepted that the odds of other life in the universe is fairly likely - there's just no good, empirical evidence that it's been in contact with us on Earth to this point.
Carl Sagan's "The Demon Haunted World" is a wonderful study of these phenomena, as well as many others, and not only debunks them, but provides a plausible explanation about why these things persist. If you can handle an occasionally heavy-handed tone (not too often, and not too bad), I think you'd enjoy it and find it pretty thought provoking.

I think a person's answer to this question is heavily motivated by religious beliefs. Take ghosts, for instance. If you believe in an immortal soul, you are more apt to believe that ghosts exist and that they are people who possibly did not make it to heaven or something to that effect. But if you believe the soul dies at death, then who are the ghosts. I am not ignorant to the fact that people see things that they identify as ghosts, but I tend to lean on the side of them being demons, not ghosts. Crop circles seem to be a little more on the obvious side, I saw a special once on them and how some pranksters made them overnight, and any reasoning person should be able to see that possibility. But the most intriguing to me of these fascinations are the aliens. Again I sway toward the biblical viewpoint, but my view may be unique. It starts with the belief in a creator, and belief in the first human man and woman, Adam and Eve. We are told in the passages in Genesis that they were created to fill the earth, and that they were only given one rule. Not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and bad. When they both broke that single rule they could only pass on to their offspring sin and death. The issue was raised by the devil to God about His right to rule mankind and of His universal sovereignty. That issue is still being fulfilled down to our day.
The reason I think this corresponds to the idea that there are not aliens is that we had to be the first creation that was given free will to choose right and wrong and who we are going to serve, God or the devil. If others were given this gift the issue would have been resolved long ago with another race or being. Another would not be created since man until the issue is resolved. Also, if you hold to the belief that a creative day is not a 24 hour period, but thousands of years, then God would still be on his day of rest. All things coming to a conclusion, when the day of rest ends and the devil and his followers are destroyed, the issue will be resolved for all time, for all species, and humans will finally go back to the life that God intended for them. After that, then I look to the stars and say to myself, there sure is a lot of space out there, and then I believe that there will be an alien race or races, and planet systems that will be created and put in lands and worlds far away.

There is a reason we don't know why any of this is true or not, and I truly believe that if there is a higher power, they intend it to be this way.
I've had experiences where I simply can't explain what I've experienced. No aliens or UFO's, just ghosts.
Crop circles are real, but in the sense that there are kids out there creating them. I do not know if some other life form makes them.

Don't know about aliens, but I do believe that "ghosts" may be present--everywhere. Pysicists say that energy can never be destroyed, just changed in form. (water into moisture into rain, mist, humidity, frozen etc.) So where does our energy go when our bodies die? I don't buy into a heaven somewhere...rebirth makes sense...All really a mystery! Crop circles seem non-man made, but have no idea what collossal force makes them--and so beautiful, precise and such infinite variety!! Magnetic land-force??????? Certainly not by our own human fascination with them!

Everything known has a foundation in reality somewhere. Even if it is a myth, it becomes a reality to someone.

The crop circles are real -- they are the creation of hoaxsters. The rest are fiction.

they are real... we create these things for entertainment value..
without things like this and many other forms of creativity we'd be bored to pieces.
