Sound travels to the ears and directly to the brain which then in turn travels to different parts of the body via the nervous system i.e. the spine. Picture the spine as a keyboard and for every sound or combination of sound you hear, stimulates different parts of the spine - this is why we get chills by some music or this is why music makes us move and dance.

Sound also stimulates many other areas of the body

That's a subject of current study in universities across the globe.
How? Why? Who knows?
It really works though.
I think Mozart knew it made him feel good, bounced it off a few pals, and if it worked he went ahead with trying to publish it.
Others have done likewise with varying results.

People are born on certain birth sequences. My note/ pitch is c# (low c sharp) and I also know my melody. It is very complex, metaphysical, and spiritual. You should look into this. It a good thing to know yourself. (Mozart played a lot of peoples "melodies" and "notes" and if you meditate to his or Bach's music you will most likely trance out, if you're spiritually inclined.)
