I am a salesperson, and have this client, who calls me and takes up too much of my time. How should I handle him?

I know he is not free from 5PM to 6PM every evening, so try to schedule our conversations for 4.45PM or so. But is there some other subtle way of handling things? Anything short of telling him in the face that he rambles on too much.

Any small practical tip would be appreciated.

I appreciate anyone athiest or christian to take the time to read my questions. My last question what should one do about the threats. Police wont really follow thru with charges because the religion card is pulled and gets sticky. i have only had 2 personal run ins witch required police action. One was agrevated assault on me because of shirt with a cross on it I was wearing ( I dont know what happened to this person but it was noted to police that I could have verbally started it, I did not know this person and thus no reason for me to mention religion at all). The other was vandalism (never knew who did it) on my car. Iam also threatened some times( not an everyday thing but an ugly situatation occurs once in a while, I have started one of these dialouges once because I was iratated and out of line, most of the time It is them). Iam beginning to think about getting a gun registered and have it in my car for this reason. Is this too far? what can I do to make me credible with polic

My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. But i kept silent and he again abused me through mesgs tht im a prosti**te. He told me he wants to slap me n abuse me . When 2 mesgs were sent by chance to him by me, He abused me n mesgd tht if another mesg i send...he will break my hands n abused me. Why does he abuse me???I replied tht im very much scared of him n to keep away from me . I've tried to go back to sleep and the nightmare keeps coming back. Its a real scary dream. One I've never had before. So scary it made me sick to my stomach. Please help, I have sleeping problems as it is. I don't want to be up all night.

If you think about it psychologically, it is the men who get side tracked cheking out women and when it comes to sex, women can get guys to do practically anything if there is a possibility for him to get lucky.
Maybe that is why a few guys become abusers. They feel threatened by a womans power and they have to take it out phisically. I know that is not the case with all men, that is why I said a few. some guys are weaker that others.
Any thoughts. I would like to hear what guys think about this too. Would you agree?
