Most women I have seen with long hair who are 50 plus either look haggard or ridiculous.

If that is the only thing you notice about her, no. Are you uncomfortable because it is grey? long? or streaky? Would you prefer her to wear it short and curly and permed like all the rest? Is it ok to be different if you are a teenager, but after you turn 21 you have to conform? Challenge your preconceptions.

Wow, that is so cool! She might be an old punk or gothic type, in which case how cool is that?! If she's just got a poodle perm or whatever that just shows that maybe she's going senile. But who are we to stop her! Pensioner power!
