Maybe there is someone in your life that you perhaps do need to plant in your Garden, Sometimes dreams are a way, our subconcious tells us how to deal with certain problems.

This sounds familiar. Some years ago I had a very vivid, powerful dream that I had killed someone and buried them in the garden. I woke in an absolute panic soaked in perspiration convinced the dream was true. Over time the dream recurred but with less force, then faded completely. I have absolutely no idea why I had this dream or what it means. I am the least likely person to harm anyone.Wouldn't hurt a fly- literally.

I have had a recurring dream in the past that i killed someone and put them down a manhole, cutting off a finger as i closed the manhole. It was in a place that was very familiar to me and i also spent a lot of time wondering if i had done this evil deed at some point in my past or present lives. The dream went away eventually but i am none the wiser as to what it meant.
In short i cant help you other than to say your definately not on your own with this one.
Maybe it is some sort of metaphor for growing up?
You know like the old you is dead and buried and a new you is beginning?
I dont know. That sounds like a load of old bollocks doesnt it?

These ideas of a past life in a person are just that - some peoples ideas. They have no credible standing and if someone tried to use it as evidence in a court of law they would be laughed out of the place. You are much better off ignoring this sort of stuff. I think this is basically a Buddhist philosophy, so unless you are a Buddhist I wouldn't worry about it, especially as Buddhists don't believe in killing anything.
Think of it another way: if you could talk to your computer and it started asking these sort of questions, you'd tell it it was just a computer virus. This is the same sort of thing, past lives are just a thought virus.
My feeling is you are in or have just got through a difficult circumstance and the dream is the response to it.

I have really weird dreams like this too, I dream that I have killed someone, don't know if I buried them or anything, and don't know who they are. In my dream I am always worried that I will get found out. I have this dream alot and I wondered the same as you about a past life? It is really weird.

in an earlier life.. not the last one... you killed a man inself defense. you repressed that memory... deeply. that is why you are now dreaming that you are burying the person in a garden. you covered the act with pleasant memories. much like you would when planting a garden. you cover the dark and dirty with the beauty of flowers.

You believe in having a previous life.
If so, how can that affect your current?
Should you have recurring dreams about you living in a mansion, do you have the guilt that your current life isn't supposed to be as it is?
What you need to do is, if your guilt is very difficult to shake off, do good stuff to as many people as you can.
Many will benefit.
Especially you!

As there is no actual proof that there is reincarnation,
I think dreams reflect our state of mind and our worries manifest themselves as violent or embarrassing dreams.
So perhaps subconsciously you are really worried about something.

I don't belive in past lives. We all have wired dreams that mean nothing sometimes, maybe you are remembering a film you watched once, for example.
