I have been finding words that I don't know in the material that I read. I look them up and then I don't know how to use them in my everyday conversations.

I kinda like sounding smart.

have six senses? And that the sixth is better developed in females? Before you go to thinking that I'm even crazier than I've always proven myself to be, hear me out. I happen to believe both things. It's the intruder sense. I hunt a lot (yeah, yeah). Do it because I like to eat meat and I don't like it to be saturated with steriods and antibiotics. But I learned early on not to stare at an animal you are about to shoot, it'll bolt on you. Does will quicker than bucks. People do the same thing. They react to that feeling that someone is staring at the back of their head, and turn their heads. Seems to me that this sense is better developed in women (perhaps because they are more vulnerable). Women are also harder to lie to. Seems to me, anyway.

Dunno. Wondered what you folks think.

How did you think up your ID for Q&A? My bellegurl17 is simple--belle is french for beautiful, gurl is obvious, 17 is not my age, it's my favourite number, and my birthdate as well. I've seen a lot of inventive ones--give me your story!

Do you think that some jobs should only be for men? And should some jobs only be for women? Or should people be allowed to do any job their qualified for, no matter if they're male or female?

I'm 36 and happily married with two children. I have a Masters in Chemistry but I have not worked in the last eleven years since becoming pregnant with my first child. My husband is wonderful and takes care of us extremely well with a low six figure salary which gives us the ability to have a great house, cars, a boat, a thriving 401(k) and plenty to invest and save. I spend over 20 hours a week volunteering in the school system and am 100% responsible for all the housecleaning, laundry, dishes, cooking and shopping. I also provide both my children with all the necessary homework help and transportation to and from after-school activities. So, I am a relatively busy person and have little time to spare so I can read and listen to opera. I wonder why it is that a person that has so much can have this overpowering feeling of not being fulfilled..am I just whining too much? (Incidently, this is a serious question and I will ignore stupid answers)

Ladies- what would you do if you were stuck in a really bad traffic jam and badly needed to go to the bathroom?

Would you try and hold it in?

Or go to the bathroom in a cup or a bottle inside your car?

Or relieve yourself on the side of the road or behind your car door?

Or would you get out of your car, try and find a bathroom, and then walk back to your car?

OK. this is going to sound really small and petty but its really bothering me. I have a facebook profile (its just another myspace site) and I think I want to shut it down. I was sort of pressured to go on it and also I wanted to but the whole thing is driving me insane and making me depressed. I'm the kind of person, who I like everybody and everybody has to like me. So if I have a friend on there I feel like I have to be friends with their friends, and their boyfriends and girlfriends or they'll think I'm a ahole, but then again I don't always know these friends of friends and I worry that I'll get rejected, and I fear that so much. It always bothers me and makes me depressed. Especially sicne one person accepted my friend request one night and then removed me a few hours later and that really bothered me. I've been depressed ever since, paranoid that everybody just hates me. I also worry that people think I'm arrogant because I added so many people in so little time, people i don't think they knew that I knew that well. And I added all of them. I don't want them to think I'm arrogant. especially since I'm not really popular, sort of liked I'd say, but not really popular, and I'm friends with some of the people the more popular kids are friends with, like seniors that graduated last year. I've just been paranoid about that, and I'm depressed, and I don't really think taking it down would make me feel any better but I just think then I'd be out of this whole thing. I also don't know if there is any "social" damage that getting rid of it would reverse it, not change it, or even make it worse. But I mean everybody has one now, and people added me as a friend just yesterday and invited me to be in an internet group and I don't want to be rude and take it down the day after. And a few people seemed happy that i got it just a few days ago. And I also don't want to lose touch with the people that graduated last year and want them to know that I like them. Sometimes I think people don't realize I like them because I just don't talk much but i like everybody. SO what do you think I should do? The main question is should I get rid of it.?

I have two.

One is about elevators. I get into an elevator (the setting can vary). The elevator is going along, and then all of a sudden it goes completely nuts and starts going sideways and diagonally - never to the bottom, always to the top of whatever building I'm in. Doing loop-de-loops and everything, and eventually it exits the top of the building. I don't get hurt and the dream ends there.

The other dream is about being in a boat - again, settings vary. I get in the boat with others and shortly after that the boat just flips completely out of the water and lands upside down, with me trapped in a shallow amount of water. I always get out into the bubble of air contained in the seating area.

These dreams freak me out - they're really scary while they're happening, even though I don't die in them.

Thoughts?
