I'm living in Switzerland and my 13-year-old son has to write an essay about school uniforms. So we thought to ask here cause most of you had (or still have?) to wear school uniforms, right? What do you think about it? Did you like it, didn't you like it? Do you think it helps to avoid conflicts between rich and poor kids? What are the advantages/disadvantages? What are your experiences? Do you think other countries should follow your example?

I have this dream over and over. Can you tell me what it means?

I find a little piece of string stuck between my teeth. I pull it out and find that it connects to something inside my mouth and throat. I pull on the string and more and more string keeps coming. I keep winding up the string into a little ball, but it seems endless. I am surprised and embarrassed. It seems like I could do this forever. I am not sure whether to cut the string, or just keep pulling until it all comes out.

Do you think that "Yahoo! Answers" could lose its meaning and attraction due to the fact that many people give meaningless answers just to earn the points involved in supplying answer?

I didn't use Yahoo! Answers for too many times but from my experience there are few people how have nothing to say but still the DO.

I recently found a person who has created 7 different yahoo answer ID. Now that person is asking questions and answering them and giving him or herself best answer. He or she has ask a total of 86 question and given him or herself best answer in all but 3 of them. But wait there is more. With all 7 IDs has answered over 300 questions and has only 3 best answers other than the ones given to him or herself. Is this a yahoo answering question? Or a Psychological one? Esteem issues? or just a cheater? Let me know if you want me to e-mail you their IDs so you can see for yourself.

Do women actualy beleive there is absolultley no down side, none what so ever to being a guy ? (im not talking about mirthful nonseriou stuff im talking about real deap issues)

By being a guy his life is magicaly always easier and always better in all respects . Do women think this way ?

I recognize and realize that yes you do have some challenges that lay ahead of you .

However most women say that men dominate society .That men are on top and are in control .

I often wonder why some people are so cruel and treat others like garbage, for no apparent cause. There is simply no advantage to this type of behavior, that I can see. Except possibly to elevate the instigator in the eyes of his peers, at the expense of the people he/she hurts. In the end, the only ones they hurt are themselves. Why can't people rise above this? I would say the cause is some type of low self-esteem problem. I can't think of too many successful people you behave this way.

How many of you realize that the real purpose of these Yahoo Answers is to do a Psycological profile of Yahoo's members, your names, credit card info, address, <---if you buy tickets via Yahoo, as well as who you contact etc. along with your own personal psycologial profile is now available.

The more you answer the more accurate your profile will be....the inter"net" in action....gotta love it.

She is becoming increasingly unhappy with her life and blames everyone else for not phoning / talking / being who she has decided they should be, but is dead against 'self improvement' type ideas.After all (as she says) everyone got through the War without needing any of this silly sort of stuff. Her views - not mine. Has anyone any kind ideas to gently enlighten her about the concept of cause and effect. She doesn't want to change so I would just like a way of dealing with her really. I am not being a doormat - after years of disliking her, I now feel sad that she is this way and would really like to help.
