Take a deep breath. Be happy being "you". Try to imagine yourself feeling happy for someone else. Try to imagine yourself liking that someone who has something you'd like to have. Visualize yourself liking that someone, visualize yourself feeling happy for someone else. "Tell" yourself you are happy to be yourself, tell yourself you are happy for someone else. When you have those feelings of jealousy, 'tell' yourself that you are NOT jealous, that those feelings aren't worth the heartache.. You can 'make' yourself believe it, and eventually you'll find yourself less and less jealous. If jealousy rears up again, do it all over again.. Remember in 10/20 years time, the feelings you have now will be long gone and irrelevant. The person you are jealous of will probably not even be in your inner circle anymore and long forgotten.

Hi Meg, Wish you could have explained alittle more about your jealousy.. I am going to figure its about a guy..
Some jealousy is normal but if you are overly jealous , its not healthy.. Example asking him where he has been for the last 2 hours , or was he looking at that girl just now>>
The reason we get jealous is because of a lack of security within oursleves...
We do not feel good about who we are thus we are jealous of anything the other person does..
When I 1st met my hubby, he was sucha jealous person... I would tell him I am going to such and such place and he would follow me there ... yup and of course I blew up .. His feeling of insecurity almost caused a breakup .. It didn't just happen once , it happened for years ..
In him, it was the other girls he had dated who had hurt him.. He carried that pain over to me and thought I would do the same...Thus causing our relationship to be strained... It took alot of hard work on my part and his before he realized that this insecurity of his had nothing to do with me but was a past issue that he had to resolve..
No one can get rid of Jealousy for you. You have to be secure in who you are and the only way to do this is to trust..
If you want to get rid of this jealousy feeling , then you gotta 1st believe in yourself .. Love who you are and TRUST who you are with..
Alot of people say trust is earned and to a point that is true but if you don't give that person a chance to earn it because you sabotage the relationship with jealousy, then you cannot blame anyone but yourself..
Try some simple little techniques that may help this jealousy isssue..
Give yourself a daily dose of positive feedback.. Example.. I am a great person.. Write it down . post it notes around the house work well for this purpose..
Give the other person the benefit of the doubt 1st...If they break that trust then you can take action but not before..
There are alot of books on the market about jealousy Go to your local bookstore and look under the mental health section..
One more word of advise .. I know this may sound mean but its the truth.. If you don't learn to curb that little green monster.. you are gonna have a hard time finding someone who will stay with you ... Its just too taxing on people to try to fix someone elses problems... I hope this helps you hun and always remember...
YOU ARE AN AWESOME PERSON....:)

Jealousy is a very normal feeling, after all we are all humans, but remember that nobody is perfect, the person who you are jealous from has a lot of worries of his own that you cannot see, if you feel jealous from a beautiful girl, she might be in a bad health or if you feel jealous from a successful person he might have a lot of problems at home, there must be people who are jealous from you too!! just remember that everybody has their luck and their problems all together, appreciate what you have .
