But I learned at the science museum that one of those round metal trash cans, with the lid on tight, is a safe place to hide in a Lightning Storm if you don't have a house or metal car to hide in, because it creates a metal cage around you, and if the lightning hits it, the electricity will stay on the outside of the can and then to the ground; the inside of the can will remain safe. (But if you ever do try this, remember, the lid must be on tight, creating a good seal.) Have fun!

Do dumpsters count? If so then yes...a week actually...if they don't... then the longest I hid in a grabge can was 79 hours.

no,cause you might be sleep and the garbage can truck might pick u up while u in there sleep.and when you wake up you'll be out in da middle of nowhere. u'll be with garbage.
