A lot of people are not as lucky as us, or as fortunate, and today is a day of thanks. Do you ever think about that and think you're lucky to be able to have what you have?

It occurs to me that Indian culture has been male chauvinistic for several hundred years. Males seem to think of them as superior to Females or is this just in generations long past? How can we overcome this?

how many of you love men, but just hate when they are rude, bossy and lazy? and when they think that we cannot do anything? and that they have to make up our minds for us? I'm NOT bashing men in particular, just the principle i guess. but OVERALL, women, who hates this about men sometimes?

I'm talking about motor skill acquisition. How many times do you have to repeat an action before you've done it enough? I'm trying to make my guitar practice efficient and I don't want to practice things more than necessary, but I also don't want to NOT do it enough. Do you know what the absolute minimum number of repetitions necessary before it is learned? Do you think if you just went through the action one time and you did it very carefully with attention, that that would be enough? I'm not talking about rehearsing something that you've already learned, I'm talking about learning something initially and reinforcing perfect technique. When I practice something that I already know, I don't worry about how many times I did it. I just wondered if anyone knows the minimum number of times that an action needs to be reinforced. For how long and how often should you practice? I've heard that 30 minutes per day is enough, but that is not enough for me because I enjoy playing guitar.

Well, to sum it up, I dated this guy for about five months. He happens tp be friends with an associate of mine,(the associate was my classmate and we tried to join the same soroity) As far as I knew from what he said about their relationship, she was just his best friend, and he was not attracted to her, because I wanted to make sure I didn't come between that..so a few weeks ago, he told me to never contace him again, and threatedned me, and told me that he would tell all the members' of thesoroity I almost joined all of my business, and also went on to tell me that he does have a girlfriend , and she is a member of that sorority, the next day, the associate(his best frined) called me to invite me to his political rally, and that was the only reason she called, so now I see her at school and she doesn't speak, I even sent her text message wishing her a happy thangsgiving and she never responded, so I don't know how to deal with this situation, why isn't she speaking to meand why he cut

The average citizen gets a score of 3 or 4.

A non-psychopathic criminal normally gets a score of 22.

A diagnosed psychopath gets a score of 30.

A prototypical pysychopath gets a score of 40.

I got a score of 26; what does this say about me?

It seems to me that U.S. currency enters the economy as loans from the federal reserve to commercial banks, who in turn lend the money to others. That gets more money into the economy, but it's loaned and has to be paid back. How does the money end up staying in the economy?

For my Anth major class we have to look into a career path for a final project. I'm kind of stuck because up into now all my career planning has been for my other major and I never really gone into one. I guess I'd be interested in something involving Cultural Anthropology, like doing social research, studying other cultures or the interaction of other cultures, something to that extent. Is there a practical career path in the field that utilizes those things?

Sometimes what are we want to be is not fit in condition of our life for certain reasons, e.g such as one wants to be;
-soccer player but no physically qualified- Dr. poverty problem- rocket scientist not enough IQ- Treasure Hunter, not in proper era -Detective, not mentally prepare.
anything U want to be; princess, spy, pirate, samurai, president, movie star, admiral, bread artisan, Oliympic gold medalist (anything U can think- as long its your dream) etc.

If U answer this question I believe it could give phsycologically effect to person who read Ur answer even for yourself.

Sometimes I fear for my loved ones and I (uncontrollably) imagine hypothetical situations in which they die. This consequently makes me cry and feel depressed. And now that I'm involved with a girl whom I care for immensley I have become paranoid about not her death so much but more about her being untrue to me. I KNOW FOR SURE that she is 100% loyal but for some reason I keep imagining her doing something wrong and I keep getting this image in my head of her w/ some other guy. Why do I think like this? I don't want to b/c she's not that type of girl? Do I need help? What can I do to cure myself of this?

It's really weird, she likes me to choke her during sex, and this seems counter-intuitive, due to the fact that choking someone is usually considered a hostile act, not one of love. I do that for her regardless because she likes it and it is kinda cool in a strange way, but I'm at a loss to understand this. I've heard it's not really that uncommon of a practice either, so (for the ladies mostly) my question is, what do you get out of this? What's going through your head etc? Just trying to better understand my own female here at home.

Apparently, we all display some degree of obsessive behaviour, and we all have our little foibles.

I personally cannot go to bed without straightening the throws on the sofas and plumping the cushions - it actually makes me feel uncomfortable if I haven't done it.

What do you HAVE to do?
