why did the nursing profession curriculum requires to identify & understand about this nursing theories?

Most curricula require understanding of many theories that we may consider irrelevant at the time.

It is only after working in the professions we have studied that we realise the significance of certain theories.

It would help if you stated which particular theories you don't understand.
