Depends, If I try to fail and (accidentally) succeed, then I have succeeded; which means I have failed. If I try to fail and succeed (in failing), then I have succeeded to fail...but I can only fail if I don't succeed in something that I'm not trying to succeed in, thus I have not only failed to succeed, I have succeeded not to succeed at what I was intentionally not trying to succeed at all and simultaneously failed at failing. HAH HAH....owww.....my head hurts.....

You failed because you did not meet your goal of failing at your goal of whatever it was you were trying to fail.
However if you were trying to fail at failing then you succeeded.
