if you think that Edna will ever take that hat off. Shirley Stelfox who plays the part has a masses of hair and though we did get a glimse of Edna's hair when she was ill, it would be fine to see her throw the hats awa.

I think she will when she tells all and gets that big burden of guilt off of her shoulders. Why do you think she wears it all the time and do you think the same as me that she will remove it by way of saying "I'M FREE at last"

I hate hate.I think it is the most despicable emotion. It takes to much energy and stress to hate.It ages you faster and destroys meaningful relations. Is it not easier to love? I am not talking about hating material items. What I mean is to hate people or ideas etc.... .Personally I do not hate anyone and never will.

this question was prompted by an answer someone gave me to another question where they stated that everything has limits over time so the subconscious mind must have too...

we know that none of us use our brain capacity to the full...we use surprisingly little of it so who is to say that if we used it to the max that it wouldnt be like unlocking another dimension to our minds....and so on and that actually the brains capacity could be endless...but we dont know it because we dont use it...???

just as a point of interest...many people for instance with split personalities, and other supposed disorders, etc are often highly intelligent and must use up a good amount of brain power...who knows what can happen when we think differently...or our brain goes down a path...do our brains(especially the subconscious) have limits or not???...;0)

i do...often your brain will just remember things that happened too long ago and you havent consciously remembered since they happened...

also things like horror movies etc that you dont think affected you until you are in a familiar place etc and the 'thing' from the movies plants itself firmly into your head,etc...

i was just wondering if memory has limits of time...or dont we know?...;0)

or does all your lying pass under your own radar.
can you tell if someone is a compulsive liar because they are so convincible because they seem almost to run on lying like a car runs on petrol?

A couple of days ago I dreamt my mother's head was floating in the air. I yelled to her, asking what happened to her body. She told me she decided to get rid of it. I went to her head, grabbed it and went to look for her body, but I couldn't find it, though I woke up before I had much time to look.

My mother is not deceased and is virtually incapable of decapitating herself because of how she is disabled.

What does a floating head mean, and why was it my mother's?

Imagine this: someone very close to you is about to gain a position of influence. A well-received fortune teller sought you out to tell you about a vision she saw, a vision in which this person that is about to gain a position of influence will cause a calamity that will bring pain and suffering for many years. She tells you that she see you doing one of two things:
1) you will ignore this warning and do nothing; allowing your loved one to do what he/she is destined to do, knowing it may cause you or people you care about great pain. By doing this you will be able to go home and live your life, or
2) you can stop this person, even if it means killing him/her. Killing such an important person with premeditation will mean prison and even possibly the death sentence, and you will lose your livelihood, your family, your friends; but you will be able to rest easy knowing you saved thousands--if not millions-- of lives.

Given the two choices, what would you do and why?

im in year one of my psychology with criminology degree at uni and this is completely over my head, iv looked at it i just cant understand it...

web links would be the best and would get the 10 points if it came with a descriptive detailed explanation too...

the actual question if it helps is

"Describe what is meant by crime reduction, and explain how Brantingham & Faust’s (1976) typology may be used to explain its scope "

sounds easier than it is...

thanx a million to the people who help! good answers will also get a thumbs up too!
