Just because if it happened to them, They know that is how they would feel. They think that is how I would feel as well. Its like they are adding words to my life that aren't even true. How do you deal with people like these?

* Learned several languages.
* Not spent so much time in post-graduate studies.
* Not spent so much time on my career.
* Purchased a house right after I graduated.

* Come out in high school.
* Taken a year off to travel before I got my masters.

* Started working in the not-for-profit world earlier in my career.

I'm supposed to be traveling home (Illinois) from Kentucky for Thanksgiving and no matter how badly I want to go, for the past two days I've had a bad feeling about getting in my car and driving, every other time I've had bad feelings about something or someone its been right on target. I understand the effects of patriarchal scripture (i.e. the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, the Qu'ran), but that cannot account for the rest of the world that does not abide by such scripture. It is because women have naturally less muscle mass than men (broadly speaking) and were thought to be not strong enough to survive in society without the protection of a male? Why was (and is) this idea so prevalent in societies around the world? What is it about women that makes people believe they are inferior? Or, rather, what is it about the patriarchal mind that allows it to view the female sex as subordinate?

My Teacher started using one of the footstep counting things. So before she was about to put it on she reset it and and forgot it on the bench outside. Scared because she had payed a lot for it she asked us to spread out and find it. When I found it on the bench it had counted to six. Now heres where my question comes into play. Do you think that maybe, just maybe, the Earth gives off tiny vibrations which the counter picked up?

I have had a dream similar to this on many occasions. the dream is always the same i feel like iam awake and something or someone is holding my hands and strangling me. i try to call oout to my partner or my house mates but i cant scream at all. i have recently moved to a new university house, there is a stange feeling about this house. and iam not being paraniod.

I last had this dream 3 nights ago. in this dream i managed to make a slight whimper. with that i was able to release my hands. the thing is i didnt wake up i WAS awake i rolled over and held on to my partner. he later stated that i had cried out but he had heard not to wake people in a dream state as it can be dangerous. but he said i was facing away from him and he is not sure but he does belive my eyes were open.

please can anyone tell me what is going on! it is not normal and it is getting stupid i have been to the doctor they have given me vallium and other sleeping aids but i cant get to sleep.
