I'm supposed to be traveling home (Illinois) from Kentucky for Thanksgiving and no matter how badly I want to go, for the past two days I've had a bad feeling about getting in my car and driving, every other time I've had bad feelings about something or someone its been right on target. I don't want to disappoint my family but it is a strong feeling.

I think that has something to do with the 3 states of mind, namely the conscious, unconscious, and the higher unconscious mind. the conscious gives you awareness, the unconscious does things that you are not aware of (eg, breathing, writing with your master hand), they support the life skills that you have without you realizing that it is there. now the higher unconscious, they know what will happen, yet it's difficult for the higher unconscious to communicate with the conscious. (it's difficult for you even to be aware that you are breathing and your heart is beating). in your case, it should be your higher unconscious mind anticipating what is going to happen, and is trying to put across to you that something will happen, and the conscious mind should do something about it so that you will be safe. your higher unconscious mind can be called your life saver, will usually work very VERY hard when it knows that its owner(that is, you) is in danger. so..explain you your family, and listen to your inner voice(higher unconscious mind).

I know exactly what you mean. About 33 years ago, I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, and we were suppose to go to a wedding that late afternoon, and I was looking forward to it until the day finally arrived, and had a bad feeling all day. My husband said, if you want to stay at your parents instead, go ahead. I went anyway. We were going down the highway, when a car lost control, and started to head right for us. We swerved to the right and hit an embankment instead. The car was not drivable, but we were alright which was a miracle considering I was 6 months pregnant. My dad had to pick us up and drive us back to our apartment. I really should of listened to myself when I didn't want to go in the first place!

Psychological conditioning. Significances. You can do that to yourself, it can be done to you without your knowledge or consent from outside yourself by no more than a human agency. No ghosts, hobgoblins, etc. A powerful reason is usually subconscious awareness of the miserable state the world is in generally. Over time and experience it naturally impacts a foreboding or dread. Be strong. Be brave. It gives life. Giving in is intellectual suicide. ( Not exclusively moving to and living in California can make that claim. )

I would say listen to your gut and explain things to your family, because I ignored my gut a few times and my problems could have been avoided if I would have listened to my gut and now I don't make the same mistakes of not listening anymore.

regrettably, it may take place to you. Or to me. no one lives in the back of a protection internet. in certainty, whilst i became a teenager, something somewhat weird and wonderful did take place to me, the form of element you hear approximately in the information, so the lesson of "it may desire to take place to you" isn't precisely lost on me. inspite of the undeniable fact that, it rather isn't any longer an invite to outright paranoia. there is not any could desire to run around appearing as though the full worldwide is crammed with evil monsters purely waiting to attack you. If somewhat user-friendly experience is used, maximum circumstances in existence could nicely be dealt with purely nice. do no longer stroll around appearing like a sufferer. do no longer make your self an uncomplicated purpose. Et cetera.

Yes I do get those feelings sometimes. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm not. If you're always right then you definitely shouldn't travel this time.

I have had those feelings but if i'd given in to them every time I'd have done nothing with my life.

There is always the possibility that you could be wrong.

No one is "always right", I think that is the preserve of "Almighty God"
