I am very social driven. I don't have that many friends to talk to, so I get really sad and upset during school. Sometimes I feel that the social meter never gets satisfied.......and thats because I'm shy, have social anxiety disorder, and I never get out the house. I don't have anyone to hang out with, so I just stay inside the house. I just feel really unappreciated right now, and I know I can be a cool guy to talk to. What should I do?!

I try to get attention at home sometimes, but it doesn't work. Every one is either on the phone and interacting, or just too busy. Its not fair. Then I have get upset, but i might chat online or something. I just need to know what to do. i know im not perfect, i have my faults, but i know im a good guy to talk to!

I'm doing a project research on men's perception on beauty. And I'm really curious what can women do to irritate the hell out of you. I'm sure there are tons of pet peeves.

Anything besides nagging, lol.

I'm just looking for people that have seen a psychologist about this problem and tips in fixing this problem.

I've gone to one already and my anxiety is so high I can't even trust the Doctor. I couldn't even trust the Psychologist I was seeing. Because I can read people like a book and know alot about people just looking at them. (Yes, I'm a freak)

Yes I workout, that doesn't help much. I don't have anyone I can trust with this and I'm not talking to my parents either. No I'm not taking meds for it either. I'm also not going to be praying to god so please leave those out of you answers.............Thanks!

I'm a 23 year old male virgin studying Psychology at Stanford - I remember learning in my Sociology Class that people who aren't in (or who never had) any intimate relationships cut short their life span by about 15-20 years. Is their any way around this (besides getting a gf)? I want to live as long as I can (whilst remaining a virgin) and it sucks to know that I'll die earlier just because I'll be a single virgin.

How does this biological process work? What are the biological underpinnings of this process? Does it have an evolutionary purpose?

Is it actually true that male virgins older than 20 are looked down at? I thought it was a virtue to remain un-adultered.......and this is coming from an agnostic.

Anyways, any tips any of you have to avoid a shortened life would be great! Thanks!

I have four subject groups. Three test groups and a control, plus I am grouping the test group into a aggregate for comparison to the control. The groups are being measured for seven varibles with seven different scores on standardized test both pre-and post-treatment. What will a ANOVA do? Will it measure the variance between the test? Which data sets should I include, Pre and Post or post only? Do you know of a good on-line calculator for them?

Why don't you wear them for us? - The fact that men love women to wear short skirts and knee-highs is undisputable - Every friggin' 9 out 10 guy's I've ever asked loves it when women dress that way. If you don't beleive me, ask some of the guys you know. WHY DON'T YOU WEAR THEM FOR US IF WE LIKE THEM SO MUCH?

When tax revenue is tied to income, changes in income affect the budget deficit. Suppose the tax rate in an economy is 30% and the government is running an initial deficit. The government then increases expenditures by $200 million. If the multiplier is 2, by how much does the budget deficit increase after the multiplier takes effect? (Round to the nearest million dollars.)

Students sit for hours at a time, without lively debate, without direct competition, and without enough tactile stimulation and we wonder why boys don't do as well as girls in high school. The whole school environment seems blatently anti-testosterone. What do you think?
