I have to agree. If I go to answer a question and it turns out to be a dissertation, I cancel. I answer when everyoone else takes smoke breaks at work, so I don't have a lot of time to read.

But I think it IS a therapy session for some people. Just writing about a problem and asking for help is comforting and if others give feedback then you've been heard, you're not invisible anymore.

Perhaps this is "personal therapy" for many or even just one person... A kind answer to a persons question may just make a difference in that persons life. and remember, you do not have to answer anyones question... I sometimes wonder why some people feel the need to ask questions such as yours... I think that perhaps you should start your own site and lay out your own set of do's and dont's.... It may work out well for you...

Because some questions are not as easily answered as others without an explanation. A question can be asked but without giving more details it can be somewhat difficult to answer. If the asker truly wants an honest acurate answer then they must give fuller detail to the situation.

Keeping the questions concise is a good idea. But if some one what to write it big then let them do it. Yahoo is not limiting size for asking a question.

well maybe they don't have anyone to speak to...even if it may sound weird, there are many teens out there who fear or are not able to have a relationship with others, because they lack confidence in themselfes and so on...but the internet in their cases is not a salvation. It's making things worse.

Why do U care ? they usually write them for people who can help and give a good answer , not some people who are not even able to pay attention!!!!

Maybe they are hoping there is a chance that someone genuinely wants to help them with their genuine question. Just because it means nothing to you, it might mean something to someone else...
