I saw a birthday card with cute little monkey sitting in front of a huge frosted Birthday cake and i wondered.. can monkeys actaully eat birthday cake.. and not get sick from it.. Can they digest all the different sugars and such... I know that they predominatly (sp) eat Friuts and Veggies . I know that birthday cake is not proper nutrition for humans let alone animals...

I dont have a monkey.. or a cake for that matter,, I was just wondering if anyone out there can answer this question for me ..

It was much larger then i'm use to in this area but still small. Bigger then 50 cent piece but smaller then a CD. It's butt was crazy hard, brown, and had bumps... it resembled a pine cone. Its upper body(like torso, head, and mouth) was black and you could see his things that it uses like hands to feed itself clear as day.

Any suggestions on what it was?

I think animals are the cutest things in the world and people mock my excitement towards them. I like to stop the car and talk to the deer and everyone screams at me to keep driving...but I just want to say hello.

They say I'm obsessed...I think they're heartless. What do you think?

I was reading an article about a cat in the US that predicts predicts people's death and sits on their bed in the hospital just before they die - http://au.news.yahoo.com/070726/2/141yk.html
and also seen medical dogs who can 'predict' seizures in patients with epilepsy or diabetic complications.

Is it that they really have premonitions or are just soneone in tune with messages that the body sends out when something is going badly?

Also...is a premonition not really a 'vision', but an ability to tune into messages that the universe/people are sending out?

Can any arthropod be considered even slightly intelligent? I mean intelligent like being able to solve problems or being able to complete simple tasks.

I live in NW Ohio and for about a month I have been spotting a very skinny, almost hairless creature, with a stick-like tail looming in my backyard. It is about the size of a small dog. I dont think it's a coyote or a fox because my cats would have been eaten by now. Any ideas?
