Hmmmmmm, I'm not sure on the resemblence part, but my Native American Spirit Guide is the Mustang. Only 2% of the people have this guide.

Courageous but cautious. Explorative. Relatively intelligent. Social but independent. Adaptable. Just disciplinarian. Instructional.
An incredible feat of Nature, the roadrunner. I have one here that will carry a cricket in its beak nearly the length of a football field to feed a fledgling. And that around cactus and through the sage and creosote bushes. Determination personified.

When I was about 8, I had a cat calendar (I was 8, shut up) and there was this orange cat. I really thought it looked like me. I told my Mom and she freaked out. She told me not to go around saying things like that. I didn't know what the big deal was. I just thought I looked like the cat. After her weird reaction, I started to think that I had been that cat in a former life, and she knew and she was hiding it from me. I was an only child...

The lovable tortoise. An Indian friend gave me a tortoise when he was going away. He never said goodbye just gave the tortoise. It was much later that I found out he wash wishing me a long life. I have always identified with his gesture. Yes defiantly the tortoise. I have nothing to hide.
