Can any arthropod be considered even slightly intelligent? I mean intelligent like being able to solve problems or being able to complete simple tasks.

I heard bees and ants are considered in the scientific community to be smarter than other types of insects. That would be hymenoptera, bees, ants, and wasps.

Edit: Sometimes when swarms of bees attack a person and the person submerges himself underwater to escape the onslaught the bees simply wait for him to surface for air then continue their attack. This behavior is encoded in the DNA but could be interpreted as "intelligent behavior" by some people.

The least intelligent arthropod would have to be the dung beetle for the obvious reason. Therefore, among the most intelligent would be the honey bee, for the same obvious reason.
But , based on some personal observarion ,my vote goes to the cricket The little guys learn very quickly. l had a small box turtle named Calhoon, and to feed him I would put grasshoppers and crickets in the terrarium. He would just walk up the a cricket and eat it because the crickets did not recognize a turtle , which they had never seen before, as a threat. They would not jump. But if the turtle missed, they would not even let him get close again, not ever.
I know of some anthropods who are not that smart.

These are not arthropods but most scientists consider octopus to be the most intelligent invertebrate.
One example if you fill a jar with salt water and put a crab in it and put the cover on and put it in tank. The octopus will figure out how to unscrew the lid.

I think bees and wasps are more intelligent but when you think how small the brain is of insects, spiders, crustaceans they can't have much intelligence.
