Okay so I was wondering...how much does it rain in Salem? Is it like really cloudy, sunny, gloomy? Does it rain a lot and if it does how much does in rain (like in days)...I was just kind of wondering...if anyone knows that would be great, but if anyone lives there and can tell me for sure that would be even better!!! Thanks.

Our power has went out 3 times already this morning. We're in south western Nebraska just outside the panhandle.

my ideal temperature range is between 60-70 degrees.
i like warm, but i like cold too.
i just dont like anything over 70 because in cali, it reaches nearly 120 degrees on summer (well sacramento atleast). its really uncomfortable and it makes me hate my summers and hot weather.

and i love x-mas and i like cold weather ON christmas season. i mean hot christmas seasons kill the mood. might as well not buy the hot chocolate and light the fireplace because its f*ng 90degrees mid december. i am overreacting but it does reach hot weather in winter.

Is there another word besides Freezing. You can't use cold because freezing is colder than the cold but you can't use the term Absolute Zero because it makes you sound stupid. I am sure there is another word in the english dictionary that is colder than freezing. Can someone please give me some suggestions.
Thanks

whenever there's a big snowstorm people go crazy and buy a lot of groceries because they think they're gonna get snowed in. why is bread, eggs, and milk the main things people buy? you really cant make anything with those three things except french toast. i know you can eat them seperatly but that would get old eating slices of bread and eggs and drinking milk

With Al Gore scaring everyone into believing catastrophic events are about to take place on earth due to global warming, I have a few questions about this topic:

When the last ice age took place on earth, what caused the ice to melt?

In a 1975 Newsweek article, scientists were certain that the earth was going through "global cooling". What has changed since then?

Landfills emit methane gas. What do global warming fanatics do with their garbage?

It is a scientific fact that the grand canyon has been under water nine times since the beginning of the earth. How did that happen?

the temp is changing pretty dramatically. Its going below zero... it might have something to do with it.

Should I call the power company, or is it normal?

Natural curiosity has made me wonder, which end of the tornado is more deadly, the end nearer the ground or the end nearer the sky?
