Our world is not near as hot as others. The reason our world stays at a constant temperature is because our atmosphere traps in small amounts of heat and reflects a large amount of it back into space. Whereas, other planets heat up to insanely high temperatures during their "days" and drop down to extremely cool temperatures during their "nights". The atmosphere can basically be thought of as a blanket.
