I saw the most different sunset tonight. (I am in Illinois). When I saw this sunset the sky was pink with blue rays coming from the middle of the sunset. It almost looked like a shadow of the sun with rays in the sky. I just wondered what it was.

I have read something on Wikipedia about the season spring and something said that the whole months of March, April, and May can be counted as spring, so I am asking if anyone agrees that all of March is spring.

I live in a place where there are a great deal of summer storms. They are pretty spectaular. The sky lights up. There is loud thunder and bright lighting. I used to be starlted as a kid, but I am used to it I have lived her my whole life. I had a 28 year old student come here internationally and he got scared an could not sleep. Is this normal? Are people scared by storms?

These are not a problem for people unless they are out in them. People can get electorcuted if they get struck, but these are not tornadoes and do not damage homes. If someone is inside there are fine.

Would you be scared? As a child I have gotten stuck in these, but we just wait and they are over really quickly. I have been on my bike in them, but never hit. I know people who have been struck and survived. I guess they are just part of life.

Would you be scared if you were inside or would you just sleep?
They were happening every night.

After reading the paper an idea hit me; if all the ice caps are melting meaning more sunlight isn't being reflected back by the ice caps why don't we just replace rooftop tiles with white tiles to create the same effect, if enough people do this, in theory, it should work.

I want to know what you think about this.
