I don't know who does it, but it says that it is right 80% of the time. It is actually more like 50%, which is expected.

I once read a report on the accuracy of the farmer's almanac, written by a university student who majored in statistics and climatology. The conclusion was that the farmer's almanac is no more accurate than if you make your own guess.

My father always planted his garden according to the almanac. I remember my dad and others talking about the full moons and quarter moons and which was good or bad. Everyone back in the 1949-1950s even had calendars with almanac to go by alot of strange things.

There is no way possible for them to be less accurate than the weatherman on tv. Buy one and try it out.

TONIGHT'S FORECAST...DARK....FOLLOWED BY INTERMITTENT PERIODS OF DAYLIGHT IN THE MORNING HOURS. OUR 5 DAY FORECAST...WELL, YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD, POSSIBLY BETTER, THAN MINE. STICK YOUR HEAD OUTSIDE TOMORROW...IF IT GETS WET, THEN EXPECT RAIN.
