I was told that lightening comes from the ground first, shots up to the sky, then comes back to the ground. I always thought it came from the sky then to the ground. I'm confused.

okay, I DO believe in global warming and that it is related to and caused by science. Why do people think it's a myth? then what is it caused by? Why are the glaciers melting? Do people think that the glaciers melting is a myth also?

Would you be white and fluffy shaped like something cool?
Or a rain cloud that bring on a rainbow?
Or maybe a storm cloud shaped like something cool?

I would be a rain cloud that rain only when sunny so I can make rainbows and make people happy! I would be shaped like a heart or........... a giraffe dancing ballet! xoxo to all!

People are warned not to use their telephone during a thunderstorm. I don't doubt you could be shocked doing this but could the voltage be sufficient to kill someone. I don't recall ever reading about an instance of this ACTUALLY resulting in a fatality. Consequently should I really be worried or is the possibility too remote?
