here at work we have many light poles around the parking lot, one of them has been moving back and forth. There is no wind, I dont think there is an earthquake, this is the second day that we have noticed it and no news about an earthquake. There are no alchol involved, no drugs and alot of other guys have seen it so I know I am not seeing things.

Seems like we notice it early in the morn and late at night hmmm can it be something cause of that

So, what can this be, can it be to do with weather, aliens, we are stumped, please help me make my co-workers yahoo-answer believers

Thanks for all your help

Does the bombing effect the weather in anyway. Maybe we have more hurricanes or earthquakes due to this disturbance? Is there any way to know since the fighting has been going on for so long?

Okay, I was in my basement yesterday because of all the tornado warnings in my area. I was sitting in the middle of the room doing nothing, when suddenly I heard a huge explosion and there was a gigantic spark on a pole, and then there was soot on the outlets. Half of the house's power wouldn't work. The internet was screwed up. My brother says he felt a shock when it happened. Do you think that lightning struck near (or on) our house?

I really have no idea...

I just saw Ernesto on the news and it had me thinking, is it someone's uncle? How long before we run out of names and start reusing them?

Is this region particularly badly affected? How strong might the wind be?

I'd like to take the bus down to the local Barnes and Noble to get a book or two but it sucks being stuck in an air conditioned condo when it's 100 degrees outside. It takes 5 min. to walk to the bus stop and it takes another 3 min. or so to walk from the bus/trolley station to B&N.

Should I be careful and go to B&N or should I just forget it and wait until it gets cooler in the week?
