In Michigan I was once down to 40 below Zero Fahrenheit, winter of 1967-68. I have experienced 112 degrees Fahrenheit in the Dallas area in the 1990's--don't remember the exact year.

The hottest temp I've experienced was in Texas where I live 119 F (135 F heat index) and coldest was on a mountain in Colorado
-30 F wind chill.

I stay in the tropics so the warmest I even have probable ridden at is 42oC and a humidity of ninety six% yet on primary the temperature is between 28 and 35 and we holiday in this all of the time. The coldest became into I rode on a frozen lake in china at -35oC. a great journey.

-28 in Chicago, real temperature. Not windchill.
105 degrees also in Chicago. The power went out as well that day!

I live in Orlando now, and as hot as it is here, Chicago is hotter on occasions, and it doesn't let up at night. Down here we have 6 months of 90 plus degree weather, but it cools down at night.

I remember in 1981, I think it was. In Chicago, we had 20 some plus days of below zero temps. I remember when it warmed up to 5 degrees, it seemed warm, I kid you not!

I believe the climate has changed. It doesn't get that cold in Chicao anymore. I mean it may hit 0 once or twice a year, but nothing like before. You also have more tweener weather. Its drearier and chillier in Spring now, it seems.

The coldest temperature I was ever in was -42 C (which is about -44 F), in Edmonton, Canada, and the hottest was +106 F, in Laughlin, Nevada

Mine were: Warmest was July of 1999, 35 degrees, but with the humidex, it felt like 42 degrees. Coldest was Feb of 2003, it was -15, but with the windchill, it felt like -30.

Hottest - 50 degrees C (122 degrees F) in Greece back in 1987
Coldest - 0 degrees F in MD in 2000.
