It's not the over use of water that's killing us. It's the hydrocarbofluorons carbonic gases that we use for factories and all that will eventually lead to the loss of all the water through Global Warming. With the use of the fossil fuels (hydrocarbofluorons) we're causing the hole in the ozone to grow resulting in less protection from the sun and thus the rise in temperatures. The rise in temperature will take it's toll on the water cycle where water usually comes down as precipitate it will escape out into space and never come back if we continue at this rate. We just need to find better more effecient energy sources that aren't as harmful. I'm all for more solar energy, wind energy and the older water wheel energy sources. If only we could manage to go back to that I know we'd be alright.

Global warming will cause the icebergs in north and south pole to melt into water. The sea level will rise a few meters. We may end up with floods everywhere.
What you are suggesting is water conservation. It will not help stop global warming, I'm afraid. :-)
If you really want to stop it, stop driving in cars as pollution contribute to the rising of world's temperature.

Guess what, read your travel magazines and you will discover that there are a few less exotic islands to visit this year because of global warming (water level rose enough to submerge them). Also if you want to see a glacier in Alaska, better jump to it, because they are melting back as well.

We should stop it as the ice from cold places are melting as other said it may be too late to make things right. When the ice melt, the sea level will rise.

No such thing as free energy people... for all we know solar power and wind power generators have an even worse effect on the enviroment... We really just do not understand what we do and its effect on our enviroment. Our best bet is to just keep on trying our hardest to develop nanotech and hope it saves us without inslaving us...

Are we supposed to prevent sun spots and block volcanoes, stop the earth from wobbling, and change its orbital patterns???
