Is there a difference between a live sound, whether it be a human voice or a car, and a recorded sound played through loud speakers? More specifically, are there any tangible scientifically distinguishable elements between the two?

Would any Christians ever take a class regarding these natural concepts? I would think they would want to learn everything they could about this so they could strengthen their own faith when they legitimently prove them as false.

The highest score you can get is 130....I got 118. what does that mean? Am I smart? Or not? It labeled me as a Visual Mathematician....does this mean I'm smart or not? On a percentage scale in the Visual Spatial section I scored 100% out of 100%....does this mean I'm smart or not?

Ok, i know this seems a little lazy but i can't seem to find any good science experiments. There arn't any good sites that can help me. All i want is an experiment dealing with water pollution or geology. I just can't find any experiments, all there is are projects. If you have a source, please list it, it will really help!

It has to be an experiment, nothing too simple (no volcanoes, etc.) and can be on chemistry, biology, or physics. I'd really like to do something on animals (I have a dog, so if I could use him to help in some way, that would be great) but it can't be anything too fancy, as I don't have the knowledge or the access to many scientific tools. I really want something original. I have until December.

Ok... I am involved in running a mine which contains a bit of gold but a lot of silver.

Problem with the mine is that the ore contains millions of ounces of silver - but the silver particles are encapsulated in silica.

Due to the silica problem, current known mining techniques are only seeing 5% of the silver in the mine being recovered - with the rest lost during the silver extraction process.

HOW could more silver particles be more easily recovered from the silica???????

An imaginative solution would allow much more profitibility from mining operations - and hence fund the winning prize by itself.

This is serious. If your answer is accepted seriously by the board.. we will seek to contact you in the future (by either email or IM or by seeking you out via an open question directed to you), to either ask for more detail on paper, or, if your answer is accepted and implemented due to it being creatively great, to simply award you your winning payment in 2008.

why do they put make up on monkeys? even all those big companies like Loreal are doing tests on animals before selling products to humans? cant they test a possible cure on humans and not on animals? why they dont know if the dose is lethal or not, so they rather sacrifice an animal than risk it on a human?

as far as I know that in history some leaders ordered to make those tests on prisoners, cause prisoners are usually healthy and in the right age. why they dont test on prisoners today even if they would consent?

I want something that has to do with Forensics because it's more fun then other types of science and it's the only thing I find interesting. I don't need a list of websites that have science fair project ideas, I already tried that. But if you have anything that involves forensics and is at a middleschool-highschool range of difficulty then I would love you forever. Oh and I can't be too expensive or anything like that.

Thanks!
