East is correct.
Iron has a density of 7.86g/cm^3
aluminum has a density of 2.70g/cm^3
The aluminum will have 7.86/2.70 = 2.91 times as much volume.

Iron:
(7.86g/cm^3)(1kg/1000g)( 100cm/1m)^3 = 7860kg/m^3
2000/7860 = 0.254m^3

aluminum:
(2.70g/cm^3)(1kg/1000g)( 100cm/1m)^3 = 2700kg/m^3
2000/2700 = 0.741m^3
