Feel free to also explain how we know that carbon decays at a constant rate, especially now that we know that the speed of light is not a constant.

I have to write a rough draft for science fair.
My project is: Do violent video games affect blood pressure?

How should I start my first sentence? It has to grab your attention. Also: what should I include in the draft? I'm going to talk about video games, other statistics and studies, heart rate, and effects. What else should I include?

Water in vacuum chamber. Room temperature, will it boil and freeze and the same time? I am guessing yes

1. It boils, since pressure goes down. Evaporation takes place rapidly and hence boil. Plus temp and pressure are directly proportional.

2. It freezes, water is boiling at room temp. no external source of energy, hence it looses energy constantly, and freezes, as there is no longer energy to keep binding the liquid.

What does really happen?.

My dog's water bowl hold a 1 liter "tank" (just a small bottled water bottle you buy in any store) of water and lasts all week. It supplies water as needed without effort on my part and uses gravity instead of batteries. Based on this principle, there must be someone out there who is smart enough to think of an easy cheap way to make this happen. Anyone?

How do you suppose a nearby (but not direct) lightning strike could damage the tuner in your TV, which was turned on? (i.e. Why is it a good idea to unplug TVs and computers when an electrical storm is very close?)

There's this soda bottle. There's some sort of pipe or tube of some sort sticking out. There is a funnel at the top of the bottle. When you pour half a beaker full of water into the soda bottle, the pipe pours out more water than what was put into it (it filled two beakers and half a basin I think). Why is that?
Hints: the soda bottle already has water in it, the tube is longer than the soda bottle, (so it's got to be curved or something) there's no valve, there's something in the bottle (but I think it's just the tube and water)

Please help. I've been dying to know what's making the bottle do this since my science teacher showed a demonstration.

the air is made of many elements besides oxygen and our lungs manage to cope with that just fine, and filter out all of the non oxygen,
but why then is it impossible for our lungs to filter out hydrogen when it is the only other thing besides oxygen
it would seem to me that it would be EASIER to breath water that to breath air, becuase there is less to deal with!!!

when water evaporates INTO the air, we can breath that, and when water vapor becomes water it is going through only a physicall change, nothing is happening to the oxygen that changes its atom..
why then cant we breath under water
do you think we ever will find a way to do so??

Please can you prove that the if all shapes had the same perimeter that the circle would have the largest area

Also prove that Reg. shapes will have larger area than irregular shapes if they each have the same perimeter.

Please don't be afraid to be long winded or refer me to websites or use Pi or Cos/Tan/Sin although keeping it simple would obvo be nice.

Thanks in advance!
