A slightly bizarre question but here goes.
I was just wondering.... could a man visit the wreck of the Titanic if he wore a NASA space suite?
Surely the pressure of a couple of miles of ocean depth doesn’t compare to the pressure of space... or am i completely wrong in assuming that?

I heard that fluoride is really bad, especially for children. The reason for fluoride is to make stronger teeth. And that the dental professionals don't have a say against it.

What do you think? Also, if fluoride is needed to maintain strong teeth then what is there that's causing weak teeth? I grew up in a country where we drank water from streams and rivers and my teeth are strong. There are some in-perfections because brushing was near none.

I'm not a scientist but I'm just curious.

Since nothing is really certain in science, a lab test that proofed to be beneficial can only be made truth if time and time again it keeps turning out the same result. These tests has to be repeated as we progress in our scientific knowledge. Any scientific claim that refuses to be retested cannot be trusted.

Is this the way science should be? If so and if something is found to breach this method, what does it do to science. If the science community allows such practices to continue, what is there to hope for? This seems to be a problem in the scientific industries because of profit over science.

What are your thoughts?

My oldest child was born nine years ago on January 26.
My second child was born seven years ago on June 26.
We are currently expecting our third child with a due date of September 26.

My question is, what are the probability and statistics facts for having three children born on the 26 (assuming the baby does arrive on her due date).

Thank you!

Can the mercury leach out of it and harm my vegetables...? Things like tomatoes, cukes, etc. Will I get sick by eating them if they absorb the mercury...?

I realize this must sound a litle silly, but I'm serious, so serious answers only, please! Thanks!

compound for molding items? I realise it wouldn't be as practical as polymers. But the basic idea behind steaming and bending wood for furniture is that they become more flexible when steamed. What would be suitable as a solvent for them? Would it require heat, pressure, what? And could the separated cellulose fibers be used for something else, like paper?

This is for some fiction I'm writing, but I'd rather have realistic details than making stuff up. I don't want to have people say "That's impossible! it can't work!"

Serious answers only, please. If the question isn't clear, say so, and I'll provide more details. Thanks!

It's for those who have reached the epitome of their fields, but still are questioning the validity of the Darwinian philosophy and want to put their concerns in writing.

The names include top scientists as MIT, UCLA, Ohio State, University of Washington, University of Pennsylvania, University of Georgia, Harvard, the College of Judea and Samaria, Johns Hopkins, Texas A&M, Duke, University of Peruglia in Italy, the British Museum and others.

"Darwinism is a trivial idea that has been elevated to the status of the scientific theory that governs modern biology," said Michael Egnor, a professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at State University of New York, Stony Brook, and an award-winning brain surgeon who was picked as one of New York's top doctors by "New York Magazine."

ok, so if you want to find the vloume of an irregular shaped object, you put it in a liquid substance and see how much the liquid rises, right? (ex you fill a beeker with H20 to 8mL and you drop a rock in it and it rises to 11mL, that means the volume of the rock is 2mg squared) well say i wanted to see how much volume my teddy bear takes up, i put it in water but it ABSOARBS water... how would i find the volume???

and i am just curious, i dont want to find the volume of a teddy bear.

me and my sister bought some juggling balls at a market and decided to try them out at home. it`s very difficult to do. after some thought, i was wondering if they would travel slower and make it easier to juggle them whilst going downwards in a lift. (not that we have access to a lift but just wondering) if only i could slow down gravity a bit until we improve.

Is the Earth the only planet with an ocean? And can you name three ways to assess that the Earth is round? I've read like hell to find out the first one and the book doesn't really give an answer to the second one. That one seems to be a common sense question that I must not have the sense to figure out. Maybe I'm thinking too much.
