my research studies group have made our own compost using food waste. it is also known as food waste reycling.

the soil which my compost started off with was powdery dry at first (just look like normal soil), then it turned SUPER wet and muddy, and now it is dryer again ._.

QUESTION: WHYYY?

please ans. i would not be able to go on to the next grade if i fail this man.

Look at your records and see when it rained, and how much it rained. Composting needs good drainage. Did your container provide for that? Starting with dry soil isn't a problem, since the food waste provides the organic content. Did you follow good composting guidelines and avoid meat and dairy? They could turn a pile mucky.

Its just like the ground around you, to much perspiration or not enough, Sometimes we have mud puddles, some day sand storms
