I have to do a science project (it's kinda like a science fair type thing) I am allowed to do a project/ experiment on any topic but it's so hard to pick one that's not too hard. This is the first time I'll be doing a project like this so can anyone Please help me think of an easy topis I can do? I was leaning more towards something that has to do with fruits or vegetables. I have spent so many hours online trying to find something good to do but I honestly cant find something "interesting" and simple for me to do. Please help me. By the way, I'm in eighth grade and I just got in to seminar science so this stuff is new to me.

It seems like every day when I go online to get news, I come across a report about a new study that "suggests" something or states emphatically that ________ "may" cause ________.

What on earth are we expected to do with such vague non-conclusions? Alter what we're doing? Quake in our boots? Run screaming for the hills like psychotic banshees?

It's all rather ludicrous. Look at how science will say that something definitely causes cancer, then will recant that claim a few years later.

I'm certainly not anti-science. I just think it's odd that things are published that are, in fact, only hunches as opposed to conclusive determinations.

If all these highly funded scientists want to study something worthwhile, how about getting to the bottom of where those extra socks go every time we lose one in the laundry?

Okay so I feel like having a "Mental Health Day". I just dont want to go to school. I always feel like this on Sunday but I always go to school. My parents nevver give days off of school unless I am sick or I have a relative coming from another country. Tommorow is neither :(. I have finished all my homework and dont have any tests tommorow. I am also A Straight "A" student. I will be more then happy to make up the work too. I also have swore to myself I will not abuse this. I have already planned this. Should I do it.

I am often electrically shocked when I touch metal. Of course, i dont mean serious injury, but just small sparks that occur from time to time that everyone has probably encountered. It happens most to me when I wear flip-flops.

So what are some things I could do to prevent these small shocks?

Personally i like gravity. It has its ups and downs, but over all its been good to me. I don't mind that they made it a law, since i was obeying it anyhow. But, . . .as i under stand it, there are a rebellious few (and proud) that are against it.

Last i heard:
Nasa is contemplating designs for the mars lander that include the afore mentioned rebellion.

is it possible. - i think it is, but won't be quite what people think. I won't hold your breath or anyone else's waiting for a land speeder.

Livermore is conducting experiments in that direction. what exactly, i'm not sure since i don't work for either institution. Speaking of which. Such great break throughs are usually from outside the main stream.

(that's us)

Inside the box . . . people starting thinking inside the box. Good thing Plato's cave is big.
