My teacher told our class that we had to design an experiment that involved seperating koolaid powder from the water in koolaid. What is the easiest way to seperate the two? I was thinking a coffee filter would work. My friend said she was going to try heating the mixture till the water evaporated. I think that would take a long time though. and would the powder burn? Please tell me your thoughts. thanks.

Whats the most effective way to build a cardboard kayak? I'm asking this because its a project in my science class and we have to race them across a shallow pond and make it so we don't sink.... anyhow... I also have to build a prototype and its due Monday. I have to build it out of Poster-board and clear tape. It must be able to hold about 450 grams for me to get all possible points... Help me please :D

I am working on a project using two motors taken from two hand held hair dryers, currently I am using 6 volts DC to power the motors for my project but I need more power(more than 50 volts DC) without the weight of adding extra batteries is there a way to increase the voltage without adding more batteries or plugging my project into the wall? and will increasing the voltage increase the motors rpms?

I have a homework question that asks me to find an example of junk science and explain why it is junk science. I'm having trouble finding an example of junk science. It cannot be related to global warming, greenhouse effect, or DDT. Can someone please show me an actual article full of junk science, or a product webpage that shows that the product is backed by junk science? Please don't just name something; I need an actual source.

I don't have time to explain why I need to know this, but I need the names of some famously terrible scientists (bonus points if they're chemists). Also welcome are names of pioneers of various pseudosciences. My ability to find pictures of these people is crucial so keep that in mind. Thanks!

I recently went on holiday to Spain, and whilst there I was bitten about 25/30 times in a week. Since coming home i've spent days trying not to scratch the bites. So whilst my question is primarily why do they itch, I would also like to know if there is any way of stopping them itching? thanks.

I'm not advocating ID or trying to irk evolutionists with this question, but how did symbiotic relationships such as the cleaner wrasse evolve? I can't figure out why other fish wouldn't eat the cleaner wrasse before they had a chance to figure out that it would be beneficial not to eat the cleaner wrasse.
