You were on your way to get your Girlfriend for a date. Then in the middle of your travel. You've seen an old man and a doctor. They were waiting for a car to get them to the nearby hospital. Then your car has only 2 seats. Also, the doctor don't know how to drive and has no medical tools. Then the old man is sick and is needed to be under surgery. Also, an add of information: The hospital has no Ambulance because it is a Provincial Hospital. There were no people to get help and no houses. So, it is like your in a middle of a dusty road with no one around.

What will you do???

OK, confusing question I know. But I have been thinking about reading medical journals. Does anyone know where I could find some good ones? Or a list of medical terminology that I can be learning? Or a list of rare and common diseases that I can research? What are some good websites for young, prospective medical students?

I've read somewhere that if one walks around wearing goggles that filter al visible light but lets infra-red light (or perhaps it was UV...can't remember for sure) one would eventually become able to see infrared radiation as well, is it true? and if so, any requirements besides walking around with said goggles? if not, why is it impossible?

I heard that a vitamin needs to dissolve in a certain amount of time in vinegar to show that it is being absorbed into your system. Does anyone know how much time to allow the vitamin sit in the vinegar? This test is suppose determine if it will be totally absorbed in your system or it will come out the way it went in.

About 3 yrs ago, I went to my doctor and told him about my sleeping problems, he recommended taking tylenol pm to help me sleep. Again that was over 3 years ago. I take 2 every night and slept really well. Just recently it got into my head that taking too much medication could be harmful to my liver. Ever since then, I stopped the tylenol pm and now take forever to fall asleep.

Ive been suffering from depression for more than year, so i thought it was time to take action. Along with depression, ive got mild ocd (but it still effects my day to day life) and social anxiety. Ive been to a practionar nurse, which didnt really help because i completety froze up and only opened up to her little bit. Shes referred me to a GP. Im worried that when i go to see the GP, i'll freeze up again and be too ashamed/shy to tell her how i feel. I feel much more at ease when i write how i feel, so do you think that it would be a good idea if i write about whats going on on a peice of paper and let the GP read it, and go from there? Apart from doing this, and getting counselling, what else should i do to get on the road to recovery? The social anxiety and depression has made me have no friends at school, which in turn is making my depression worse, and thus my OCD as it worsens when im stressed. How can feel more postive about going to school, and life in general? Plz help!

There are good doctors and bad doctors, just like any other work. But what IS it about doctors that makes then react to criticism as if their sperm-count or virility or penis-size was being questioned?
