Generally, the advantage of vaccination is conferring immunity against certain diseases thus protecting from getting the disease. Vaccines do not guarantee complete protection from a disease. depending on individuals immune response, sometimes an infection could still set in but most commonly in milder form, thus it is still considered a bit of advantage.
Disadvantages include: possible adverse reaction, some vaccine are costly, being ineffective in some cases is also a disadvantage most likely due to mishandling (improper storage) or maladministration, and the worst is possible death from extreme reaction to the vaccine - though it is a very rare case but I know a relative who died on the same day after vaccination/

We don't really know because no double blind studies have been done to confirm or disprove vaccines' safety or effectiveness. There is no proof vaccines eradicated any disease, only chronological correlation with already declining infections numbers. Vaccines can have severe reactions according to the manufacturers of vaccines and they contain some really toxic ingredients, and the manufacturers indirectly admit they are dangerous because they lobbied to become immune to prosecution in the 80s for vaccine-related injuries people were suing them over. They worked to develop a compensation program and each vaccine is taxed to build that fund, so that when a person has an adverse reaction from vaccines up to an including death, they or their family can get an attorney to attempt to get financial compensation for the death or injury of themselves or their loved ones.

As a general rule, vaccination is very advantageous.
On fairly rare occasions, people can have a reaction to them
and sometimes, develop a full blown bout of the disease that they are being vaccinated against.

ADVANTAGE to the individual: You are immune to the disease unless there is a variation. IE: Flu shots.

DISADVANTAGE to the individual: You may be allergic to the medium they used to make the vaccine. IE: Eggs.

ADVANTAGE to society: An epidemic can not come and wipe out your civilization. IE: Black Death in Europe, Smallpox for the Aztecs and Incas.

DISADVANTAGE to society: You ensure the survival of everyone, even those with a weak immune systems thus the over all "quality" of the race goes down.

Bottom line....get immunized.

Hi, Its difficult to answer your question fully as it is a little vague in what you are asking.
Do you mean to vaccinate children from some diseases?? or vaccination for holidays abroad??

re children if you don't vaccinate your children against known diseases then you risk them getting the disease, which can have an adverse affect on them - sometimes the disease can affect a childs life with the disease causing some disability or even death.

Again with the vaccination for holidays you risk catching the disease such as malaria, which again can cause lasting adverse affects on your health

Some people do have an adverse reaction to the vaccination so you have to make up your own mind as to whether to vaccinate or not.
