Would it decompose as normal? What about pressure canning it, would it actually preserve the feces? I really am curious scienfifically about what woudl happen, so do not report this question.

Yeah it would decompose. There are already lots and lots of bacteria in feces, and many of them get along just dandy without oxygen.

If there is no bacteria in the airtight container, then the feces will remain as is because there are no decomposers to break it down.

there IS bacteria in faeces no matter how tight ur container is...unless u sterilise it...but who would wanna sterilise human waste?
u can't really stop it from decomposing...but matter in it may still hang around.eg.if ur faeces has like grains it it n u passed it out, and coincidentally it is buried by volcano ash,u may still find remains of the grains eons later... :)

If you were going to can it, you would have to heat it up, as you would for canning any other fruits or vegatables, so the cooling process creates a vacuum seal. However, during this heating up process, you would probably stink up the whole house, quickly ending your experiment.

If it was seperated from the body when you put it in the container, nothing. But if it it was still attatched to the body it would strangle the person and the head would shrivel up.
