Go directly to www.streetdrugs.org, it is a non-profit organization and is used by law-enforcement. It is the safest way to go. Do not trust '.com' sites because anyone can produce those types of websites.
They have pill identifying helpers and pages there, including a drug search engine.

If you are really concerned, (does the pill belong to a loved one) look it up on drugs.com the pill identifer. it is a good site. But don't take it. Throw it out. if you can't find it, it could be something generic over the counter, a vitamin, or a street made drug.

If it wasn't prescribed for you don't worry about it.
Or you could get one of those pill guides from the library of pharmacy and try to identify it.
I hope you are not trying to figure ot what it is so you can take it.
