I heard that a vitamin needs to dissolve in a certain amount of time in vinegar to show that it is being absorbed into your system. Does anyone know how much time to allow the vitamin sit in the vinegar? This test is suppose determine if it will be totally absorbed in your system or it will come out the way it went in.

You are trying to find out the dissolution rate of vitamins. Simply mix equal parts of water and vinegar in a glass and drop in your vitamin pill. Within 40 minutes, it should be well on its way to being dissolved, indicating that the vitamins in that pill will be absorbed by the body if taken in. If it's not, it's probably going to pass through your body undigested.

stomach acid's a lot stronger than vinegar, so I'm not sure how accurate that will be.
