I took a Cialis tablet on a saturday night, and insurance guy came in on Tuesday at noon. He gave me a swab drug test and i was wondering if taking cialis can bring back bad results. I have no prescription since I buy them in mexico without one. I know the effects last 36 hours, but will it affect the outcome of the test.

I am in a desperate situation. What happens is I just discovered that I am extremely lazy that affects to every aspects of my life. It literally eats me alive. I gotta do something about and did some research found out about ritalin. I got to the pharmacy and tried to get it. Unfortunately,
they wouldn't sell unless i have a doctor's prescription. So i marched down to my family doctor. He was like i can't give you a prescription cuz it's......... I desperately need to take Ritalin. If you ever tried it how dangerous is it? Any side effects? And how can i obtain it without a doctor's prescription?
Thanks a million in advance.

I was just wondering why over the counter is called over the counter. "Over" would either mean "across" or "above", right? And the counter is where you go to talk to the clerk or pharmacist. Okay, what's across the counter from me are the prescription meds that the pharmacists have to get for me...and what's above the counter is nothing. Is the "over the counter" meaning "on the other side of the counter" from the pharmacist's perspective? Wouldn't it just make more sense to call the over the counter medicines nonprescription or on the shelf medications?

My husband found a pill mixed with another RX that we have. Of course, we will take it to the pharmacy and find out what it is for sure, but I just wondered if any of you might be ably to identify it for me.
It is small, round, white, and has 25 printed on one side and TOP on the other.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

late growth spurt in college?

Ok, get this, I know it's normal for men to grow into their 20's but the strange thing is that my height seemed pretty constant from 16-18 at just over 6'. I'm now 18 1/2 and I just got measured again at the same place(dr's office) at 6'2.

Further adding to my confusion is the fact that I took mild anabolic steroids(oxandralone) right around my 16th birthday. I don't seem that physiologically developed as far as secondary sex characteristics- I barely have to shave. Also, not that my grade has any effect on height but I'm going into my 3rd year in college so it seems even more peculiar.

i had surgery on my wrist on feb 9th to put a metal plate in to fix my wrist. I was in a splint for 10 days, and i have been in a cast ever since. I hope to get it off tomorrow, if the x rays look good. If I can get the cast off tomorrow, how long do you think it will take until I will be able to lift and just have normal function? i know it depends but will it be 3 months or like 6? i just want an estimate.

Coumadin is a blood-thinning medicine. Has anyone known it to cause heavy menstrual clotting? Like, really large blood clots.

This seems to be the case with my mother. It seems that everytime she uses Coumadin, her clots get fairly large. The doctors know about this, has anyone had this experience or known anyone?

Hi! I'm trying the learn about the blood vessels of the brain. I'm looking for help to understand this all. I understand that there's the carotid artery supplying the brain and then you have the circle of wills and both the middle anterior and posterior arteries but.
What is the diameter of these vessels?
How can I learn about the dynamics of bood flow? At what regions in the major cerebral arteries does most blood leave?...
Is everything "connected" to each other? For example if there was a block would blood come from another artery to compensate this?
How large are the capilaries in the white and grey matter? How many are there say running through a 5x5 mm region? Are they as small as blood vessels?
What happens if there is a leak in the brain-blood barrier? -Does the whole interstitual space become filled?

Please help me understand the anatomy and dynamics of blood flowing through the brain. Where/ how can I best learn this?
Thanks!
