I am in a desperate situation. What happens is I just discovered that I am extremely lazy that affects to every aspects of my life. It literally eats me alive. I gotta do something about and did some research found out about ritalin. I got to the pharmacy and tried to get it. Unfortunately,
they wouldn't sell unless i have a doctor's prescription. So i marched down to my family doctor. He was like i can't give you a prescription cuz it's......... I desperately need to take Ritalin. If you ever tried it how dangerous is it? Any side effects? And how can i obtain it without a doctor's prescription?
Thanks a million in advance.

You don't take Ritalin for laziness.

You need to sort yourself out! Yeah - I know. You would 'cept you're too lazy!

Have a look at the wiki page for the Ritalin side effects.

You need a doctors prescription to obtain Ritalin legally. There are illegal sources, but if a doctor isn't going to prescribe it for you I would suggest that it means you should be taking it.

Taking an upper would fix your laziness about as much as chugging 20 cups of coffee. It doesn't fix your laziness. It will just give you jitters and palpitations.

Pills don't change behaviour. You will need to change your behaviour yourself. This only tends to occur when you realize how much the bad behaviour is affecting you - and from what you write you are beginning to realize it.

Oh yeah - the Daytona patch won't cure laziness either.

Ritalin is prescribed primarily for people with hyperactivity disorder. Being lazy does not qualify as "hyperactivity".

A doctor must prescribe Ritalin and this is based on many factors being taken into consideration.

Persons who take Ritalin and it is NOT necessary are taking great risks because it acts differently in a body that does not need it.

Taking any prescribed medication without proper supervision by a doctor is dangerous.

Does 'death' appeal to you? People have died by taking Ritalin when they were not prescribed it. Ritalin affects your metabolism. You don't need to mess around with this stuff without a doctor's permission. Besides, get caught with this stuff, or taking this stuff, while in public schools, and you do not have a prescription for it can get you expelled in schools that have a "zero tolerance" policy.

I suggest that you go to your doctor and tell him what you are experiencing and let the DOCTOR assist you. Could be that you have a metabolic disorder that prevents you from being motivated. Laziness is not always just a "culturally defined defect". Sometimes it is due to a health problem. Only your doctor can tell for sure.

ARE YOU F@#&ING KIDDING ME!?!?!?! other then maybe taking a chance with your life and bying some on the street their is no way of getting a perscription. it would be illegal since that is a controlled substance. thier is the chance that if you don't need it you could suffer side effects wich will vary depending on how much you take and if the stuff is even any good that you get. try a good round of daily vitamins and some excercise. that will do you wonders. eat healthy. poping a pill wont do anything for you except for slowly eat your liver and a few other organs over the years. all drugs have an affect on the human body over time, even organic ones, so everything needs to be taken in moderation.

Ritalin is NOT a cure for laziness. Just get off you ***! Yes it's dangerous and if you want to use a legal drug illegally I ain't gonna help you find it. You did NOT just discover you're extremely lazy. You just thought is was worth a shot asking where to get a drug illegally. Get a clue! If you want drugs find them yourself loser.
