what do you do if someone takes an overdose, what are the symptoms? how do you know if its an overdose?

each potentially toxic substance can cause a myriad of signs and symptons...you can ball park things into different categories...but it is really better if you have a clue without trying to 'guess'. That way you have afaster and better chance of getting the right antidote or treatment on board very quickly

It depends on how much of an overdose, and
what kind of meds. Aspirin will usually cause an upset stomach and can thin the blood out too much. Anything else will have symptoms on the
bottle. If someone you know has taken too much
and you are concerned then please get off the
computer and dial 9-1-1 right away.

Overdosing on different things causes different reactions. Overdosing on codine will cause a coma, overdosing on alcohol will lead to lack of coordination (being drunk). Call poison control, and don't do something rash, don't induce vomiting, don't try to dilute the posion, unless you are told to.

Usually u see them vomit alot, face changes color....and so on... y? do u think some1 is taking an over dose? if so... u should talk to them about it and not argue or try to invade privacy...
