Engineering (Science & Mathematics) - October 2006

We want to prove mathimatically,statistically,ecologically or in any way,that a half acor pond remains one and is not devided in two because of an 8 foot diameter pipe.The pipe is 4 foot underwater and 4 foot above and is covered with a bridge.The purpose of this pipe is to equalize the water flow.This project is not made yet and if need to, the pipe could be bigger.How do we prove this pond is still considered one???

Two coherent sources A and B are d = 4 lemda meters apart, lemda being the wave-length of the light emitted by the sources.
An obsever goes arourd the two sources, along a circle of large radius D centered midway between A and B.

I have two ARCO M55 solar panels. What do I need to connect to a 12Volt bank of batteries.?

Do I need some type of regulator when the batteries are fully charged.?? The Arco Panels voltage is approx 17VDC at 2.5 amps, Should I limited the voltage to 14VDC???. I would like to connect both panels to up to five batteries at one time...???
