2 ships leave port at exactly the same time.
Ship A travels at 12 kilometres per hour on a bearing of 073 degree.
Ship B sets out at 15 kilometres per hour.

After 3 hours the two ships are 30 km apart.

Calculate, to the nearest degree, the bearing Ship B must have followed when leaving port.

I am really stuck with this one, must be late , or maybe the time change!! ;-) Help really appreciated!!

Does this controller http://www.ar.com.au/~softmark/page44.html have inputs for a rotary encoder? I want to use this USB stepper motor controller with rotary encoders like this..

http://www.ar.com.au/~softmark/page44.html

Would this work? or would I need a different controller? Or something to work in conjunction with this controller?

Also.. what kind of power supply would I need with the USB stepper motor controller?

Any help would be great!

A diaphragm pump used for pumping Ammonia liquid from 25 ata to 225 ata employs a hydraulic coupling for capacity control. The coupling is connected to the pump through a flywheel and gear box. we want to replace the hydraulic coupling by direct coupling and introducing a variable frequency drive facility for the motor. Can we do it without affecting the performance of the motor and the pump? Please clarify.

right now, we have the ability to simulate single neurons and very small groups of neurons. If we could simulate billions of neurons, would that effectively simulate an entire brain? Would this be AI?

If someone had an invention they wanted to get patented, is it possible to show the invention to a patent attorney to see what potential the invention might have? If so, how safe is it to do that?

Second question. Does anyone know or is a patent attorney that I could e-mail and possibly show designs for an invention?

I know that the arrow on the filter must face the same way as the air flow, but don't know if the air flows into furnace or out of furnace at the point where the filter is placed. Also think maybe it is different when I run the air than when I run the heat. I am getting cold...I need an answer. Thank you. Pat
