I am drafting a report and need to evaluate the results. I think an RMS value for error is relative to a log scale, thus 1/2 size is 10x better, does anyone know this math relationship?

How can i refer to the hole, as 'hole' doesn't sound very good... the only things i have thought of are 'cavity' or 'hollow' or something???? is there a specific phrase or something??? any suggestions?

We are doing a science fair project were we have to make a model of artificial skin that has to stretch and go back into position, and that can have weight put on it and not break. It has to be a 5x5x5x5 shape. It also has to be made out of 4 different things, either layered, or sewed/taped together, etc.

I was watching City in a Pyramid on Extreme Engineering on the Discovery Channel. She was experimenting with the use of hydrogen obtained from pond scum. She has a lab - I think it is called Energy Systems Lab. I would like to obtain info on her findings and on the lab - contact numbers, etc.

I live in Northern Ontario. I recently travelled to Michigan and continued to receive calls on my cellphone. How does the signal find my cellphone? I know that cell towers transmit the signals, but does that mean when I call someone on their cell phone that the signal is broadcast on all towers until it "finds" the right phone?
